Clear up Oily Skin Problems

Do you have problems with oily skin?  Are you breaking out due to it?  Well, there are certain precautions that you can take so that your oily skin can balance itself out.  There are dozens of specially medicated skin creams and lotions that work to balance out the PH balance of the skin but they are very expensive.  I imagine that everyone with oily skin does not have an extra $100 per month just to spend on skin.  So, you can spend over $100 on skin care products or you can spend less than $10.  Which do you prefer?  I thought you would choose the latter.

Skin does not need to be treated with chemicals.  Normally these chemicals will clear up the skin or balance out the PH level but the oily skin will return after the discontinued use of the product or even while you are still using it!  The best products to clear up skin problems are the products that you find scattered across the kitchen.  That is right!  Average, every day fruits, vegetables and grains can help sort out your oily skin problems.  Below you will find a list of solutions to help you improve your oily skin.

First off, in order to rid yourself of oily skin you need to remove the excess sebum from your skin without removing all of the important skin lipids.  Using natural skin products are the least harsh on the skin’s surface, making this a healthy way to remove the sebum and not all of the lipids.

One natural remedy is to mix cucumber juice and lime juice and apply it to your face about half an hour before you shower.  This way the juices help to eliminate the oily residue then are washed away.

Clay masks can be used one to two times per week.  Here all you have to do is blend one teaspoon of green clay powder and one teaspoon of raw honey and apply it to your face.  It should stay on until the mask has dried plus an additional 5 to 10 minutes.  Afterwards you can simple take the mask off using warm water.

As an astringent, you can mix water and lemon juice together, apply it to the face and once it dries, you can rinse it off.  Lemon is a natural bleacher and therefore will rid the skin of redness.

Oils that are excellent for solving oily skin problems are the following: lavender, bergamot, cedar wood, cypress, frankincense, geranium, juniper, lemon and sage.  Witch-hazel is also great for absorbing the oil from one’s skin. Also a healthy diet that includes drinking lots of water will help minimize oily build ups in the skin.
