Skinceuticals Clarifying Cleanser Review

I really like this cleanser.  I've been using it for about a year now and I've had no problems.  It contains 2.0% salicylic acid to fight breakouts and it has a slight exfoliating action when using it.  It does not contain sodium lauryl sulfates which do make me break out and it's hard to find a cleanser without SLS's.  The best part is that after I use it my skin doesn't feel dry and tight which is what usually happens after using a cleanser for acne.  It removes all my makeup but I do not use it on my eyes.  If you have a problems with acne this is a great cleanser.

Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub Review

Thursday, 20 August 2009 11:30 by Jen

I don't use this on my face I actually use it on my back in the shower daily.  Yes I have been blessed with acne on my face and occasionally on my back BUT if I use this scrub daily my back stays clear.  This was the first summer I could buy tops and dresses where my back was exposed because finally I found something that cleared up the "bacne".  It doesn't contain sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates which seems to be the key for me in staying clear.  Most cheaper (drugstore) washes contain SLS's and once I started using products that did not contain SLS's my back cleared up.
